Yoco Yoshikawa ~Belly dance certified Instructor, Producer, Performer, Choreographer, Costume designer~
Yoco is a world renowned artist who has been featured on TV and has been the subject of several newspaper articles and magazines.
She is experienced in various styles of dance and music, including: Jazz, African, Latin, various Middle Eastern (Egyptian, Turkish, Tribal) and Asian styles.
Yoco is now a NY based professional dance artist who is known in the industry as one of the best belly dance instructors, with vast experience teaching students at all levels from beginner to professional. Yoco has developed her own teaching method over the years, and has given many successful workshops in Tokyo and throughout Japan. Using original as well as classical movements and rhythms to evoke a seamless fusion between the various styles of dance, and communicates her unique personality through her movements. Her engaging personality allows each student to develop their own style.
